TL;DR: Leon whining about internet

A long, long time ago, back in the ancient 2009, I had a dream. I dreamt about awesome internet, with connections exceeding 10 mbit/s. This dream came to life, 28th January, at 4:35 PM. Overwhelmed with joy and excitement, I went on my computer, and headed towards the internet to test this amazing speed.

After waiting the mandatory 15 minutes for windows to boot properly, I saw the internet symbol on the right menu bar not flashing as supposed when you have internet, I thought that was no big deal, after other similar situations, where I did have internet, but not showing. The problem this time, was steam didn’t launch in online-mode. Filled up with anxiety and rage, I called the support line to maybe get some answers. After the basic, elementary trouble-shooting like “Is the modem/router turned on”, “Have you connected the Ethernet cable to your computer” “Is your phone working…”, I was allowed to state my problem: “I ordered a improved connection to what i already had”. Then they where quick to reply: “Oh, your modem is last millennium technology, you need to order a new modem”.
They agreed to reduce my connection for the upcoming week until the new modem comes, and by reduce, they mean literally chop it into pieces, by only giving me a 1/15 of what I ordered. The modem also costed around 100 Euro.

The following week, I had a stable ping of 250+, yay. The modem finally came Thursday, so I decided to install it right away. I haven’t seen so much dust accumulated in one place then on my old modem ever before. After installing it… correctly, I couldn’t connect to the broadband central, so I figured it was because of they chopped my connection for the week. I gave the support line another call, to ask what was going on. Once again, it was the same retarded questions: “Is the power on”, “Is your phone working”, “Try turning it off and on”. Once again I had to answer these same questions, and then I finally got to say what i wanted. And they where like “Your order is being handled at the moment, please wait up to three days for your request for being finalized”. I was like fml, first I don’t get what I ordered when I was supposed to, secondly, I had to pay them an extra 100 Euros for a new modem. thirdly, I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone, giving them even more money because they believe everyone is 80+ and don’t know that any electronic apparatus needs to be turned on to work.

Later that same day, I gave them another call. Now they said that some sort of motherboard in the nearest hub burned up, or outdated because it also can’t handle the new connection, and they where sending a guy there on Friday to see if he could fix it. I fucking pray to god he can fix it today so I can get back online. After watching internet-porn each fucking day for over 5 years, its kinda tricky going back to your imagination

I hope to get back today (Friday 5th), but god knows when.

From the looks of it, Addicted Bastards is a newly formed Spanish team, made around the start of December last year, with only a handful of ladder matches to show their history.
First round is this week, and hopefully, by the end of this week, there will be one Spanish team left in the cup
