Mumble 1.2
As you may have noticed, the 1.1x branch of Mumble hasn’t been updated in a while. This is because the Mumble team has been working on Mumble 1.2
This new version is a pretty drastic overhaul of Mumble and introduces some nice new features, for example:
- Easier user access management.
- Lower latency / higher quality thanks to a new/better voice codec
- Whisper function
- Channels with passwords
- Temporary channels
- Easy upload of custom user pictures for on the overlay
- Friends list
We like these new features and encourage you to experiment with them on the FB beta Mumble.

Feel free to join this Mumble and test it out. If you’re already a user on the ‘normal’ FB Mumble, you can simply login using your account and join your channel.

i wanted to ask what could be the problem if im trying to connect but all i get is:

Your IP range has been banned. Your ISP hands out dynamic IPs and refuses to listen to complaints.
Someone with the same ISP as you kept going on the mumble and scream in channels.
